The Orthopaedic department is also known as surgical two. This name originates from historical background. It used to be a unit of general surgery until 1986 when it became an independent department. It is located in second floor of the main hospital building.

The Department has three sections, these are:-

  1. General wards i.e. Room 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11
  2. Private wards i.e. Room 12, 13, 14 and 15 which are shared with surgical department (SI)
  3. Orthopaedic Rehabilitation unity
